It's weird that even though you (my donor) have never been in my life, you still play a big part in it. As you could read on my ABOUT ME page I was about 6 years old when I heard the first story about how my sister and I were there without a "daddy" in the picture. Mommies had an egg but had no seed and they had been to the seed bank for that. When classmates used to ask about how I could be there while I had 2 moms, I told the story to the fullest. I kept telling the story my parents had told me. Later adjusted at a later age after I found out for myself what it was really like by just googling donorchild, when I had just bought my laptop. My moms talked about it and told me my donorID code and a funny story is that the donorID code just happened to be the road they went on to get to the hospital for their inseminations.
When I was 13, I received my donorpaper after 1 year of wrong application. I am going to write a post about this for the (parents of) donor conceived children of today. So that they can get the information in time when they want to and know how much time will be spent on it. And now how I have it ... I am 16 years old and I am taking my exam this year. You're confusing my head a bit which makes me think about you (my donor) all the time. And I wait until I get my letter to meet you ... Until then I have to keep my head in the game. And how is your life now? When I met you: And what was your life like before you met me?
Lots of love,
Your donor conceived daughter
Joëlle
